Dollar hits 6-yr high vs. yen

TOKYO, Japan - The U.S. dollar hits a fresh six-year high above the 109 yen line, pushing the Nikkei stock index to a near nine-month high around the 16,300 level, in Tokyo on Sept. 19, 2014, as shown in a bulletin board at money broker Gaitame.com Co. in the Japanese capital's Higashishimbashi district.
